We planned & relatively easy days walking. We only changed the itinerary because of cold weather & its flexibility Langtang Ri Trekking was awesome. Guide & Porter were both very friendly and helpful especially when I felt ill. They did their best to make us comfortable despite of cold weather. Hot water bags were excellent. We had nice time in base Camp thanks.

We decided to change the itinerary from 3 passes to Everest Base camp trek and back due to the cold weather and had some problem with an altitude and LRT completely flexible for that. Guide and porter were excellent & were very knowledgeable.

Official service from beginning to end was very nice. Guide in Kathmandu was excellent rather then guide in Pokhara. Very good driver clean & safe car. We are impressed with ladies hard work in agency & even thinking to be back in November for trek. No regret that we changed the itinerary in Pokhara as we want more nature & the flexibility of Langtang Ri was awesome. The entire trip was fantastic. Thanks.

This was short trek from Lukla to Namche. First meeting Shree in Langtang Ri was very nice & was very up to date and when I found that she was going with us that made us charm too. Shree is very nice & cooperative and caring equally guide Krishna. Words like Jam jam and ali ali was so commonly use using that sometime we made fun. Shree is fun loving girl when she is on trail but when Krishna got confused then she explained it so simple way that there remained no any doubt. First day was ok on trail but second day was quite difficult because of knee problem & Krishna arranged me horse and I made up to Namche. I enjoyed stunning mountain views and singing on the trail. I wish I can stay long but next time I will come with my family. No regret that I couldn't able to complete the estimate trail because of keen problem but I enjoyed lot and credit goes to Shree, Krishna & Langtang Ri. Thanks.

Lukla Gokyo trip was absolutely fantastic & well organized. The guide was excellent & staffs were very helpful. No any comments in an against and arranging helicopter flight from Lukla due to bad weather was absolutely fantastic.

Lukla to Gokyo and back was absolutely nice trek. Langtang Ri arranged trek with great debut and great backup services. Every aspect of trek was superb. Guide Suman was supportive honest and dealt with efficiency. Gokyo Lake is superb & had stunning views of mountain including Mt Everest. Lodges booked on the trail by Langtang Ri Trekking & even in City Kathmandu was very confortable. Many Many thanks we will return for another trek also. Once again we like to thanks for arranging us helicopter from Lukla to Kathmandu.

A good trek with excellent guide and porter(Top Class). We had good length of trek suitable to our stanadrad.the tea houses selected were adequate with good food and comfortable rooms. The sightseeing of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur was good. I enjoyed the Pokhara sightseeing. I enjoyed whole trip lot and at jungle safari ( Tiger Tops) the lodges was very clean and enjoyed the safari activities and return travel by flight was much better. The services has been excellent both Pamfa & Sgree and other staff have been very helpful. I found then approachable and showing great flexibility. Thank you. Further I would consider a longer trek in future.

We did day walks from Jomsom Mountain resort. Our guide took us through several villages, beautiful interesting walks amidst stunning scenery. We created our own itinerary and Langtang Ri was able to accommodate all our request. At one stage there was an unexpected change of plans and Langtang Ri was very flexible and helped us, develop us the alternatives itinerary & was brilliant. Jomsom & Chitwan accommodation was excellent. Rhino residency offered a great program. There was time to relax also. When guests decided to take an Mt Everest flight the company issues the tickets promptly without any delay. We were quite unsure whether the weather will be on our part or not but there weather was on our favor & had excellent Mt Everest flight too. This trip was awesome. Thank you!

This time we spent very nice holiday in Nepal & supportive was Langtang Ri. First Day accommodation in Pokhara was not so good but when we flipped into Barahi it was very nice and relaxing. ABC trek was very nice trek and guide Shisir was very nice & cooperative with us. We think Tiger Tops in Chitwan may be worth but it is the best. Thank You Langtang Ri !

Nepal Part: Very good. Jomsom Kaligandaki trek was so nice and equally fit for our time. But due to road if there would have any alternatives trail then it would have been more beautiful. But our guide was so potential and had knowledge of every things. Tibet: very good: no any comments in an against however the guest house in Nyalam was not so nice rather food, services was brilliant. Thank you Langtang Ri for providing us such a nice holiday trip & of course we will take your services for next Bhutan trip.

Our guide was really nice and competent. We had some difficulties to communicate in English some times but not for the basic subjects but when we asked questions as culture and possibilities. The food was varied and was of the time good, The porter was efficient and accommodation was simple the best) services provided by Langtang Ri was awesome and time being. The itinerary that Langtang Ri acknowledge was good one. But flexibility of guide was awesome on the trail. We change some day as shorter and some as longer as per our wish. All was went well no any health problem but in Chitwan sorry to say we enjoyed in other activities but we couldn't able to see any animal even a rat that was quite sad part no matter probably next time. We have just returned from Australia following our Trek to annapurna basecamp in november. Well organized only that weather was cold but it is unpredictable. Supporting staff and crews were awesome. While on trekking all the staff were well equipped and were singing and dancing was very nice equally the camp food it was very tasty.

Itinerary was very nice not too long not too short, may be we could take rest after descending from Banthanti. Food was excellent including service. When my father forgot to took his hand phone in lunch or somewhere else one of the staff went back all the way to get that phone that was really nice of him. We enjoyed a lot with good mountain views also.

All went well but this way being teahouse we were staying in tent & felt little bit cold but very supporting team was with us so every thing went so well and good view of mountain as well. Thanks for all.

Fast pace trekking but we had very good weather on Poonhill. Trek was very well organized and we were well take care of. Camping was better than staying at teahouses. Equipments were very well provided. Food was very good, great variety and all the porters and staffs were very entertaining with their songs and dance. We enjoyed lot and proudly say that I will come back again and want to take the service from Langtang Ri as well and recommend too.

This trek was very scenic except for the last day. Guide and staff were excellent and well equipped as well. Delicious food in entire trip but food can also be simple for heath conscious sometimes too tasteful food can cause some to fall sick rest there was no comment against service standard of office and staff crew. All were nice & well organized.

Itinerary was just right for first time trekkers. An excellent crew, very friendly and always ready to help and of course very entertaining too, equally the management team. All in single word is the best I could explain.

Guide was a very knowledgeable man, nice, honest and very good English speaker. The men who was supposed to be just the cook, had lot of mountain experience. Porters have been good, but as often happens they tended top be rather “anarchic”. Equipment was average. Food was good and plentiful. Accomodation in KTM valley before and after trekking has been great.

The itinerary was Great! Definitely away from the beaten tracks, no tourist. Lot of wild areas, small villages. The perfect trip for everyone who already did Everest/Annapurna trekking. Not difficult (4500 meter at highest) but 16/17 days camping is not like tea house trekking. Perfect for body, brain and soul.

Initially I was quite impressed by the immediate response from the Langtang Ri office. We felt great that we joined with this team. While on trek we were provided one guide and porter. But porter speaks English so well that we felt like that we were having two guides in one cost. Perfect in every step, no complaints at all. We will join for this company again for our next trip.

Transportation from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi was terrible. But it was a good itinerary; we had a very nice time in the mountains. Shisir was very good guide. We will recommend this trekking to our friends. Accommodation standard in trekking was be well checked by our guide it was very nice that we always got nice rooms.

Accommodation in hotel cosmic was very clean efficient and helpful with good internet rooms attached. Further, a fantastic experienced with round Manasalu made all the better by Krishna and his excellent crew. Very good pace and acclimatization meant that everyone made it over the Larkya La without so much as a headache. Thanks you Langtang Ri team.

Days well spaced which allowed for acclimatization. Guide Krishna and team worked well together providing everything they needed. We got experienced with an excellent mountain views with great wooded areas with good variety of birds and also grey languor (monkeys). Tent accommodation was very nice. We had great holiday here. Krishna our guide was a model of how a good guide should behave. His management skills were superb often handling complex situations (a staff team of 18 + 7 clients) with ease. It is gentle manner was always evident and his skill was major contribution to the success of the trek. The best mountain views is the best any trek I have done. I would like to single out Rinjin , one of our cook boys as a real staff. He had a permanent sunny, happy disposition which was unshakeable and he was a joy to be with. We got on well with all the team who were professional in every way. Langtang Ri Team has got such wonderful staff that great management skills.

A well-led team made the trekking a delight. Good food and best staff. Langtang Ri tents were always comfortable. A strenuous trek, especially staving from chovlea. The best mountain views of any trekking areas I have done yet. The trail goes very close to the mountains. The village and culture is very interesting. We were completely out from noise pollution & were great experienced without seeing a vehicle completely until 2 and half weeks.

Excellent trek. Well run by Krishna and great team. Congratulation to Langtang Ri having such a delightful guide. There is nothing that we would change. With our tailored trekking program we were able to visit all the wonderful sites. We had planned in our own time and at our own pace. Our knowledgeable guide also gave us optiosn to pursue along the trekking route enabling us to experience the surronds and sherpa culture to the fullest.

Tours are all ok - kathmandu local tour was informative. The "budget" issue was a bit confusing at first but in the end it seems to have worked out.

Accommodation was mixed but generally all ok. Pokhara "Landmark Hotel" was in a great location.

In jungle safari, there was no tigers seen but I think the Rhino Resort did a great job. They were very organised and the food was good. Our guide was also good.

We are very happy with support of staff at Langtang Ri Trekking. Our organised tour is in fact "organised" such that we are not left wondering "what is going on?" or "where is our pick-up?" Well done guys!! All up the whole trip was generally "stress-free". That is why we sorted you guys as professionals to look after us.

Trek was excellent. Highly recommend that people do the 3 Passes Trek and stay off the Everest Base Camp Route. Great views from all 3 passes. Guide was great though english could be better. Upfront transparency on the food/accommodation. Budget would be better to avoid confusion when we run out of money.

Connections between the segments and contact could have been better/clearer. Sometimes felt as if we did not know what was happening, waiting for contact from someone.

Accommodation was highly varied but very good for adventure type trip.

Resort was very good, good accommodation, food and pool, very ralaxing. Extent of wildlife spotted a bit disappointing but you have to be lucky.

Rafting was great fun. Bus was a bit cramped but ok. Well managed service with a good number of staff.

Overall, a great trip! Well organised and managed!!

I didn't expect such good food and accommodation in the mountains! Goma and Thakur were a perfect team - both caring and helpful characters with a superb sense of humor and patience. I had a great time with them. Goma is a jewel!

As you get fitter every day, I found some days very short of walking, but with a long trek I also enjoyed the rest. Poonhill was funny for watching people - the mountains are also in sight during the trek.

Very good trek and excellent guide. We really enjoyed having Phurkel Sherpa with!! All the accommodations we stayed in during the trek were good as the food and people very friendly, a really good experience.

The itinerary respected our expectations. We had enough time to rest & cope with altitude and some little variations on the way down very nice!

I really enjoyed our trek. Langtang Ri Trekking took the hassle out & planniing our EBC trek and our small group & three had a rabulous time. Phurkel was a great guide whom I would recommend to anyone.

The itinerary was perfect - no one in our group got altitude sickness and none of the days were too long.

The airport fees should be included, its silly to have to pay them extra - inefficient. Phurkel was terrific, he was extremely good at getting us accommodations, guiding, taking care of our meals and navigating the airport chaos.

It was good for the ascent but we could have probably done it in a day less and have been just as happy. We had some very short days on the descent and would have preferred to go further.

No first aid equipment for guide. It says on grochaure that guide is first aid skilled. But that is not good if he has no equipment. Guide was excellent and very experienced. I was of that impression that it was a group trip from that website.

Itinerary was ok. I think guide adjusted it. He made comments that it was not correct or suitable in places. Office services and accommodation was good.

I had a wonderful experience. The experience was very new to me. Since it was my new experience, I felt little hard on my legs.

It was tiring but highly rewarding. I would definitely recommend Langtang Ri Trekking when trekking into recount the difficulties of the trails and the physical endurance required at altitudes.

Trek was tough but good. DP really looked out for me when he saw that I hand difficulty keeping up with the group on when I was not feeling well. DP has very information about culture and history of region as well.

So far being monsoon we felt lucky that we were able to see mountain in mountains & rhino in Chitwan. Little bit confused in Chitwan Jungle Resort not having menu at first but honestly jungle guide was too nice we just ignored it. The entire trip was very nice we will come back soon.

Pre departure information was impressive. Yes there was the transfer problem because of the weather but the flexibility of Langtang Ri Trekking was delightful by which we flipped to do Mustang trek. Famously known as Bridim village home stay trekking, it provides camping and home stay facilities. Very interesting route with visit in some very interesting villages'. The unbeaten trail is a new experience for the us, experiencing the beauty of the mountain region with the culture of local people. We receive hearty felicitation by the locals rich in their distinct costumes, architecture of their mountain houses and ancient monasteries. It offers us wilderness experience through beautiful landscapes buit some day it was bit difficult because of slippery road but we enjoyed lot. Guide is an excellent. Tibet itinerary was excellent. Staring with Lhasa. Particularly if doing Everest Base Camp side trip for acclimatisation Tsetang & Namtso will be nice place for views. If you have time, walk/ trek to Everest Base Camp spectacular scenery, fascinating culture and monasteries etc. Train is best way to seen plateau. We had an excellent English speaking guide. Every things were organised so well. There is no doubt in saying Langtang Ri is very professional and excellent.

China nice so do as interesting of varied -sightseeing mixed with boat /cruise cycling. Good snows/entertainment. Suggest offer client's selection to choose from Re train very nice. We had very knowledgeable guide with an excellent English very efficient arrangement and organisation and good hotels. Every thing was organised so well and food were very very delicious. Ghorepani Poonhill trek offers the spectacular mountain scenery along with charming villages inhabited particularly by the Gurungs & Magars, dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurnas with the picturesque peak of Machhapuchhare (Fishtail Peak) dominating the skyline. One of the important highlight of this trip is to make a climb on Poon Hill, possibly the most spectacular mountain scapes on Earth. This was awesome. Every thing was a big adventure. Itinerary was perfect to our time frame and Guide Ajeeb was excellent. I would recommend to every body to explore Nepal guided by Langtang Ri Trekking.

Stunning trek, scenery, Birds, flower etc, particularly we enjoyed Langtang Valley trek. We would like to stay longer at Kyanjing Gompa to acclimatise and do the day walk from there. It looked very good another time we would consider taking route back over snow passes.

Guide Krishna seemed quite and shy to start with but once we discovered his interest in birds and flowers etc which we shared then helped us to identify what we saw, did some snow walks for bird watching. We had some good discussion about Nepali Culture which we all enjoyed great guide with as excellent English speaking. Like to have more Nepalese character for accommodation. Loved seeing village life on the survey. Impressed by the Tour guided who had full detailed including craft works. Not only tour even jungle safari was awesome to experienced with and thankful to Langtang Ri for an excellent service.

We are extremely happy with the help received from Langtang Ri Trekking and expedition and our guide Shisir. Shisir Advice regarding side trips, places to spend the night and transportation logistic was excellent and beyond our expectation.Shisir also helped us identify the summits visible from Itinerary and patiently explained to us aspects of Gurung and Thakalies culture. As Annapurna circuit offers great diversity in terms of climate, flora landscape and culture. It’s a good choice for week trek.

Formerly a restricted area, it spans five major ecological zones where can be found the lush, tropical Arun Valley, dense forests or rhododendron and fir and alpine meadows that lead to the might Barun glacier. From the base camp, any one can view the spectacular Mt. Makalu. We did it. Suggestion provided by the Langtang Ri agency about the weight limit was nice. Transportation organized was very impressive. Equipments were equally very nice and porters were also well equipped. All guides and porters cook were really impressive and even had sound knowledge of English. Guide DP is perfect and so do as Ram. We must say this agency had god gifted guide not only for communication skill they do gave well managed. Proper utilization of garbage, North American should have to gain knowledge from them. This time we had very nice trip and this was only because of Langtang Ri. We will come back later too.

Makalu base camp trekking is finest and beautiful trekking area. One can find less number of Tourist and while we were doing there were only few. This trek was really exotic. Our every service was provided Langtang Ri Trekking and it was an excellent service. All the staffs were very cooperative and friendly and well managed. Cook was nice and cooked delicious food. Thank you for all Langtang Ri Team providing such an excellent service. I will again get this agency support for upcoming year as well.

The information provided before departure was enough that we do not have any further information needed. Office service was excellent and guide Gopi was awesome. He had good knowledge of everything. There was mo any transportation problem while on trekking we used horses than porter. All was managed so well. The Langtang valley is aptly called 'the valley of glaciers'. The valley offers pine forest, swift mountain streams, rugged rock and snowcapped peaks, grassy downs and meadows strewn with daisies and wild primal. Me & my friends was here to climbing Peak Nayakanga in doing Ganjala Pass .We had very nice team very experienced climbing guide, cook and smart porters. There was adequate information before departure from office that we didn’t needed extra. All the team was very supportive and regular connection being far from city was perfect.Thank you very much for the brilliant service and the well manage team being very supportive. Annapurna circuit for Spectacular scenery, diverse cultures, forests, lakes and glaciers combine. We made it one of the most scenic areas for notice. Manaslu trek is beautiful and cultural. We meet few tourists & most interesting for us was the good and warm contact with local people. For us it was very nice to eat from plastic plates, accommodation in tent. It was really nice experience for us. Guide Ajeeb knew the details of route and area. We had very nice moment to explore around. He explained us so well about the area. We had no any problem guide and porters took care of us. All the credit goes to Langtang Ri agency due to this agency support it was very nice holiday of course.

The Langtang valley is also known as the treasure house of Alpine plants. This high and isolated region is inhabited by Tamangs whose religious practices, language and dress are much more similar to Tibetan. We had an excellent trip this year with great weather. This is very beautiful trek was suggested bt Langtang Ri Trekking and yes it was very nice equally the guide Ram was really helpful and gave us lots of details about the mountains. He had good at spotting birds and animals too. Accommodation was as same as we had expected. There was no any transfer problem. We family spent very nice holiday.

Watched out the Lonely planet about Tibet is consider forbidden by Chinese authorities. The trip in Tibet was simply perfect. The guide had strong knowledge about Tibetan general (history & Buddhism), good command in English and very flexible. There was no any transportation problem. All accommodation was really clean. The information provided at initial was adequate that we didn’t need any extra. Excellent trip and excellent staff. We will recommend this agency to our friends for sure.

The Himalayas are best seen on this short Everet trek as one traces the main route through the Khumbu region from the Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar. We did very short trek but was very nice. We got experienced with Himalaya and their living style. Accommodation was nice. From initial every service was very nice .But we even was to draw local government attention into using plastic they should completely banned these. Guide Ajeeb was very nice guide and nice command in English. No didn’t find any extra information all was so perfect. Shopping and Shree is very expert on it. Treking trials were good as we were not so experienced trekkers. We had evry short moment and enjoyed a lot. We would definitely recommend Langtang Ri for others too.

Jomsom Muktinath is an easier trek. One of the most significant features of this trek is that it can be done through out the year as it falls under rain shadow area. All the arrangement was done by Langtang Ri Trekking and was so perfects. Well managed, Cooperative, smiling and competent staff. We are fully ready to take the services according to the clients‘s wishes and to the special circumstances. We can fully recommend Langtang Ri Trekking for our future holidays and travel to Nepal.

The Eastern part of the range is famous for the unique Tamang culture to which the Nepali Royal family belongs. This area is truly unspoiled and the visitor is treated to spectacular views of mountains and colorful rhododendron forests. We started trekking from Syabrubesi via Dhading to Gorkha took no camping and relied on local hospitality for food and shelter, just me & Narayan able to live simply and travel easily. This is a remarkable trek that would not be possible as teahouse trek and very different of group or camping. Narayan is perfect guide, porters sometimes also cook. He expertly led me through rural Dhading along local fruits to villages seldom visited by trekkers. Narayan is very attentive to my welfare and comfort. He did a great job at finding us lodging and food including welcoming me into his home for one night after the trek. Service was excellent. Thanks Langtang Ri for providing me such nice guide.

Manaslu trek is reward with the adventurous with an unparalleled alpine experience. This Manaslu Trek exhibits the sensational mountain views, fascinating culture and has one of the most dramatic Himalayan high altitudes pass. We spend very nice moment however we did have less time. We were supposed to go Kutang Sertang Monastery which was in top also. We had very excellent and flexible guide DP and helpful porters and nice cook. We had unforgettable and nice experienced in this trek. Official service was excellent. We found no any against we just want to say as this is our first trek we will come back again & will take this agency help for sure. Thank you.

In the upper part of the valley there are snow ridges spanning angry torrents, high passes enveloped in mist, tiny lakes of crystalline brightness and glaciated mountain giants. We enjoyed lot. Guide Krishna was simply perfect. Porters were very nice and well equipped. Information was all provided and services standard was an excellent and cooperation. We had short time this time but next time we will come with taking longer time and even recommend this agency to others.

Spectacular scenery, diverse cultures, forests, lakes and glaciers combine to make it one of the most scenic areas for novice or experienced trekkers. First I was quite surprised to do the trek alone but I liked it very much. Transportation from Kathmandu Pokhara Kathmandu was nice. I must say Lake View resort is very nice place to stay. Official service was excellent and necessary information was forwarded. I did trek twice and each time I got different guide. I must say there was perfect but I like Syanbo more kind, knowledgeable and flexible rather than Dilip. Porters were well equipped and can walked very fast. I had great time in Nepal. Langtang Ri Trekking is certainly helped me lot.

Guide Krishna & porter is excellent. The trek was wonderful the mountain Annapurna looks awesome by the side rhododendron blossoms. The daily program was very good enough but some days it is possible to go longer time. We are very much impressed with agency service.

We are very impressed with sree whose smiling nature & dealing power was very impressive& excellent infact she provide such proper information that we don’t find that we need to get extra. Guide Ram is excellent so do as porters. Good English and knowledge of areas. Itinerary was very well prepared and following route is cover with beautiful scenerary. Pre departure information was sufficient I much as I needed that’s why not needed of extra information. Accommodation was not always good but it goes with somehow I had expected with; Flight was the problem due to bad weather however Guide Ajeeb was clam make it possible to make every moment happy. I have visited Nepal five times with my family to do trekking in Everest and Annapurna in 2001. Langtang in 2003, Everest in 2007, Jomsom in 2009 & Helambhu in 2010. All of our trips had been organized by Langtang RI Team successfully. We recommended Langtang Ri very strongly to anyone.

In March 2009 Langtang Ri Trekking organized for us, i.e. a group of two persons from Germany, a three weeks trek around Mount Manaslu in Central Nepal.

The trek had been arranged according to our wishes and proposals. Starting from Gorkha with its famous old Royal Palace, we followed the Daraudi Khola for two days and then crossed over to the Budhi Gandaki River via Barpak and Singla. We then joined the Budhi Gandaki via Tatopani, Jagat, Prok, Namrung, Samagaon to Samdo. We experienced an impressive mountain scenery and unspoiled Tibetan villages. After crossing the 5000 m Larkya pass we followed the Dudh Khola through flowering rhododendron forests, and the Marsyangdi River valley down to Besisahar, thus successfully finishing the Manaslu circuit.

Langtang Ri provided us with an excellent and experienced team including guide, cook, and porters. Apart from the professional skill we enjoyed the friendly and harmonic atmosphere within the team. We were able to perform the programme as scheduled. We recommend Langtang Ri Trekking without reservations for the preparation and performance of your treks.

Let me express gratitude for your help in arranging and executing our trek to Tengboche monastery ... I appreciate your responsiveness during 'preparatory phase' over internet and very flexible setup and agreement we made on site. Our porter & guide, Sanu, was excellent person and helped us to understand some basics about Solo Kumbu region. Tsum Valley Trek
Guide Gopi was excellent. It was recently open for trekking and itinerary was well prepared. Food was good. We three people enjoyed in snow fall also but what I am determined to address ……… Make an inventory of preferred food items -Before starting consider, Developing committee, standard equipment (Tents, Tables, Chairs) should be made available at camping places so that no unnecessary transportation by porters is made. No change or final price for tourist but the human resources can be invested and nor value added activities locally (improvement of Traffic cleanness in Camp Site).

Upper Mustang Trek
It was excellent trip. All guide porters, cook were excellent. All were well equipped .Food and accommodation provided was really nice. Our entire team enjoyed lot. We spent awesome holiday .Service provided by office was really appreciative. Entire management teams are very cooperative. Thank you for providing us such nice trip. Guide Kishana Gurung was a great guide, who knows every thing. As it was easy trek I could have easily gone faster if I was not sick the day from Langtang to Kyanjing.
